First time camping so was a little worried but was such a good place! Great facilities facilities and excellent staff, we’re extremely helpful and the staff member who worked in the canteen/reception block was a superstar, he gave us different campsites to pick as we were teenagers so to try give us and the families space! And he was very helpful with everything. The grounds were extremely clean and up to a fantastic standard. Would definitely stay again.
We loved our stay at patonga camp ground. It’s hidden away and has the right amount of kids equipment to keep them occupied. Also the ability to have a camp fire on your site during the allowed months was awesome!! Really adds to the experience. The access yo beach fronts was great as well. We will be back as we really enjoyed this camp ground more then more Popular and more expensive options in the area. I’d tell everyone to go here but then I wouldn’t be able to get a site hahaha.
Great Camp Ground
This was a lovely campground – we booked over the phone. The lady was extremely helpful and trusted us to pay the following day as we arrived after dark. Site was quite windy being on a peninsular but was nice and cool at night. Facilities were good and the washing machines/driers were spot on. Beach was quiet and there are a couple of cafes around. Good price too for a motorhome. Plenty of phone signal.
